A "Service Provider" refers to any individual or entity that offers managed services, technical support, consulting, or other professional services on the ThreeFold Marketplace. Service Providers utilize the ThreeFold Grid's infrastructure to deliver their services to users.

2. Service Provider Responsibilities

As a Service Provider on the ThreeFold Marketplace, you agree to:

• Provide accurate descriptions of all services offered
• Deliver services according to the specifications and timeframes advertised
• Maintain professional standards of quality and customer service
• Respond promptly to user inquiries and service requests
• Set fair and transparent pricing for your services
• Provide clear service level agreements (SLAs) where applicable

3. Reputation System and Staking

The ThreeFold Marketplace employs a reputation system that affects service provider visibility and benefits:

• Your reputation score is calculated based on user ratings, service delivery performance, and staked TFP
• Higher reputation scores may result in improved visibility in marketplace listings
• Staking TFP increases your reputation score and may qualify you for reduced platform fees
• Poor performance or unresolved disputes may result in reputation penalties

4. Service Delivery and TFP

Compensation and payment processes are governed by the following principles:

• All transactions on the marketplace use TFP (ThreeFold Points) as the medium of exchange
• TFP has a fixed value of 0.1 USD per TFP
• Service Providers receive TFP from users who purchase their services
• Earned TFP can be exchanged for fiat currencies or other supported tokens through the available liquidity pools
• Platform fees may apply to transactions as detailed in your Service Provider dashboard

5. Service Listings and Marketing

Regarding your service listings on the marketplace:

• You are responsible for creating and maintaining accurate service listings
• All service descriptions must comply with the Marketplace Content Guidelines
• False or misleading claims about services are prohibited
• ThreeFold reserves the right to remove or request modifications to listings that violate guidelines
• You may utilize marketplace promotional tools to increase the visibility of your services

6. Slashing Conditions

In certain circumstances, penalties may be applied to your account:

• Consistent failure to deliver services according to the promised specifications
• Multiple unresolved user disputes or complaints
• Violating the terms of service or engaging in fraudulent activities
• Slashing penalties may include reputation reduction, temporary suspension of listings, or in severe cases, permanent removal from the marketplace

7. Dispute Resolution

In the event of disputes with users:

• You are encouraged to resolve disputes directly with users when possible
• The ThreeFold Marketplace provides a dispute resolution system for unresolved issues
• Disputes are reviewed by an independent panel based on evidence provided by both parties
• Consistent patterns of disputes may affect your reputation score

8. Termination of Service Provider Status

You may cease being a Service Provider by:

• Removing all service listings from the marketplace
• Completing all outstanding service obligations to users
• Providing notice through your dashboard at least 30 days prior to complete service termination

9. Liability Limitation

As a Service Provider, you acknowledge that:

• You are solely responsible for the services you provide to users
• ThreeFold is not a party to agreements between you and users
• ThreeFold does not guarantee minimum income or service utilization rates
• You are solely responsible for compliance with local laws regarding professional services, taxation, and business operations
